Day 1

Yesterday was the first day we went to Westwood. I got put in a first grade classroom. I love little children and was very excited about my class. When I walked into the room all the kids were sitting on the floor learning the months. The actual teacher was not there yesterday so there was a sub. This caused it to be a little chaotic but I enjoyed being around the children and helping as I could. I saw from what the sub did that she had patience with the children. When one of the kids was set on doing the estimation jar and didn't get chosen the teacher offered to let both kids share the job. This worked perfectly both of the boys got to do what they wanted and were happy. Next time I would like to be able to enteract with the kids more.
